ENVIRONMENTAL AND SOCIAL IMPACT ASSESSMENT (ESIA)

ESIA is a regulatory tool/process which identifies the environmental effects (both negative and positive) of development proposals. It aims to prevent, reduce and offset any adverse impacts.

AREMO assists governments, developers and manufacturers in the conduct of the impact assessment process by providing accurate information about the consequences, both ecological and societal, of planned activities, and taking appropriate measures to promote sustainable development. AREMO works on very varied size and nature of projects for which he directed the whole environmental approach (initial consultations, field investigations, development of impact assessment records, preparation and implementation of environmental and social plans, consultations and public inquiries, obtaining environmental permits from national authorities or validation with the donor, monitoring the implementation of environmental measures, etc.).

AREMO conducts ESIA in accordance with the requirements not only of local laws and regulations but also those of the International Financial Institutions. AREMO has the best solutions for its customers to make the control process of social and environmental risks as an aid to improving the quality of their projects and not as constraint.
